I begin my painting process with a fine line drawing using gutta resist on pure white silk.
Color is an important element to my silks as I mix my own palette of fiber dyes to paint the
entire cloth. This silk is then steamed for 4 hours; allowed to cure, then washed and
ironed. I create different styles of scarves, evening bags, wall hangings, décor pillows,
and baby kimonos with matching silk photo keepers and booties.
